Whole Milk (Local Grass Fed) | 1 1/2 Cups | |
Heavy Whipping Cream (Organic) | 3 Cups | |
Whole Vanilla Beans (Fresh Bourbon Madagascar) | 2 pods | |
Sugar (Organic) | 1 1/8 Cups | |
Kosher Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Corn Starch | 2 Tablespoons | |
Vanilla Extract (Pure Organic) | 1/4 Teaspoon |
Directions
- Whisk milk, heaving whipping cream, sugar, salt, corn starch and vanilla extract in a pot and set to boil.
- Split vanilla beans and scrap out the beans and add to pot.
- Continue to whisk until boiling and shut off heat.
- Pour into Tupperware and put in fridge until completely cool.
- Prepare Ice Cream Machine according to instructions and add cooled ice cream base into machine for churning.
- Once machine is complete scoop into Tupperware and put into freeze to set for a few hours until proper consistency.
